Legal Assistance

French Refugee Council on daily basis help asylum seekers and refugees in their asylum and other administrative procedure and provide them legal assistance. We have dozens of volunteer interprets and social workers who accompany asylum seekers and refugees in different French institutions and provide practical support with their administrative applications. Our dedicated social assistance team help asylum seekers with their asylum claim in France and help them complete their OFPRA file and other administrative process. To ensure the privacy of each asylum seeker assisted by the program, each of our social assistant follows a strict code of ethics and a term of reference.

Through our different services, and with the help of our dedicated team and community members, FRC strives to address the needs of all asylum seekers and refugees and walk beside them as they start their new lives in the France. Our daily accompaniment program connects asylum seekers and refugees to a range of services such as mental health counselling, employment services, assistance securing housing, mentorship, and extended cultural orientation. FRC on the regular basis visit different reception centres to help migrants and asylum seekers on the process of asylum in France and other administrative procedures.
