Integration OF Refugee in the Labour Market
French Refugee Council is working towards providing early access to language training, an evaluation of refugees’ qualification and skills by providing career guidance and training programs for preparing refugees to enter a vocation training programs, occupation and help refugees find an apprenticeship or gaining employment opportunities. FRC connects refugees with employment service providers and provide them with the right information on job opportunities in France and making available all employment related information such as language trainings, resume writing, etc. FRC has helped dozens of refugees in obtaining internship opportunities that often converts into employment opportunity.

Distribution of winter clothes & Hygiene products to new arrivals
Every year, winter comes to intensify the suffering of refugees, migrants and asylum seekers living under tents in truly horrific situations. These vulnerable people lack their basic needs and often struggle to find food, shelter or even warm clothes. Today, the jungle of Calais is not the same as it used to be six years ago, However, the migrants and asylum seekers continue to spend the cold winter nights in the really inhuman situations.
Distribution Point in Calais
Every year, French Refugee Council distributes winter clothes, sleeping bags, hygiene and food products to hundreds of asylum seekers in Northern region of France in the district of Calais. These vulnerable people struggle to find food, shelter, warm clothing and other essential needs. FRC is committed to helping them in this difficult period
Distribution Point in Paris
On regular basis, French Refugee Council distributes clothes, sleeping bags, boxes of Food and Hygiene with aim to raise awareness on the situation of Refugees throughout the world particularly in France where hundreds of asylum seekers and refugees are sleeping in the tents and on the streets in the major cities of France, particularly in the capital city Paris.

Community Link Program
(Teach a Refugee)
TEACH A REFUGEE is an initiative that connects local citizens with asylum seekers and refugees through languages classes. The program on one hand helps refugees learn French language without any fee and on the other the initiative aims at removing cultural gaps and all other negative perspectives on refugees in the country by presenting their talents and competences. Our volunteers in addition to offering French classes, also offer practical help with applications and other official appointments. The beneficiaries of the program are from different nationalities such as Afghanistan, Congo, Eritrea, Iraq, Nigeria, Syria, Somalia and Sudan who learn to communicate independently in going shopping, get information or attend doctor appointments.
Since 2013, the initiative has help more than 1361 refugees and asylum seekers from private tutors all over France

Assisting asylum seekers during
Evacuation
There is a need for a long term and a sustainable solution to mange migration in France. French Refugee Council team has been sending out manifestos and letters to authorities calling for a dignified and humanly evacuation. Housing remains an immense problem for refugees and asylum seekers in France and a noticeable number people present on the site of the evacuation are the people who have already been accepted as refugees but the absence of housing makes them to be among the new comer asylum seekers.

FRC team through its online and physical platform provides all legal support to newly arrived asylum seekers and refugees.
Translation support
FRC provides free translation services for the asylum claim of the newly arrive asylum seekers who does not have access to any financial aid
